Veja Taua Trainers - New for SS09

Just when I thought I couldn't love any trainers more than the Veja Volley's we get in the new Veja Taua for Summer 2009... This style is so cute and perfect for hot summer days with a sun dress - what about teaming these 'Sun Yellow' Taua with the fab Annie Greenabelle Floral Shirt Dress that we've also just had delivered... can I justify another pair of trainers?

May Windows

This month's windows are all about the accessories. I took inspiration from Terra Plana's Dida shoes which are made using relcaimed quilt fabric from Pakistan and brought in a vintage patchwork quilt to add to the theme. The coral sections on the quilt are a hot colour for this summer and set off the organic silk Elenora Dress by Amana perfectly.

The wooden ladder is excellent for showcasing this season's sexy heels. From the bottom of the ladder we have the Juniper shoe by Terra Plana, classic pin-up girl style Ruby shoes in pea green by Beyond Skin, the aformentioned Dida quilt shoes by Terra Plana, cork Serena wedges by Beyond Skin, and floral print Sammy shoes also by Beyond Skin.

The second mannequin is wearing Edun's Nyasa Tunic tucked into Fafi denim shorts by Kuyichi. These shorts are a fantastic flirty 80's retro shape. Bring on the summer sun!

Wedding Bells at Equa

The girls from the Equa boutique shut up shop last weekend to attend Penny's (the owner of Equa) wedding in the Lake District. It was everything you could wish for in a wedding: beautiful, emotional and with an idyllic setting.

We couldn't resist the chance to show off some of the best of this season's elegant offerings from Equa.

Here is the lovely Marta in a gorgeous silk blouse by Alchemist.

And the green balloon dress on yours truly is by Kiilerich. One of my favourites from this season!
